Ideally you will have worked for a managed service provider in the past and know what it takes to provide quality service to your clients. You will be looking after Daraco’s clients in NZ and abroad so variety will be your spice of life!You will be down to earth, have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal along with a broad technical nous across;➢ Desktop➢ Cloud➢ Security➢ Infrastructure and Datacentre➢ Voice and Data➢ Networking and WiFi Ideally you will have expert knowledge of Microsoft Desktop applications and Microsoft Server experience. Along with this it would be great if you have O365, Intune, SharePoint and Teams exposure and knowledge of Citrix.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesHere is an idea of what you’ll be doing each day;Help the team with ensuring security of network and uptime of servers and systemsManagement of assigned IT service desk tickets, prioritising, sharing tickets to other IT employees when necessaryAccess impact of technical changes and manage implementationSetup and deploy laptops, desktops, printers, smartphones etc.Support end user operating systems/applicationsIncident management – diagnosis and troubleshooting of service desk ticketsEnsure all incidents and requests for work are logged into the Service Desk systemDiagnose and rectify hardware, operating system and file system faultsTroubleshoot problems and make recommendations for modification to rectify faults  You will work remotely and paid overtime and on call allowances as and when.
