Infrastructure Manager
Our financial services client is looking for someone with experience across Systems, Networks, Cloud and Back Up to lead their Infrastructure Team. This role ensures system availability, responsiveness, and recovery to meet agreed service levels across the full technology environment covering on prem data centres and future focus for cloud and managed services, network services, telephony, service monitoring, servers, storage and related software, and supplier management.The role:Lead and motivate highly diverse teams towards higher levels of performanceBuild workforce capability and resilience to meet the changing needs of internal / external customers, new projects, and technologiesContribute at relevant Technology Forums and partner with various Technology teams to ensure technical, process and strategic alignmentAssist the Head of Infrastructure and Technology Operations in ensuring optimal technology infrastructure and service solutionsParticipate in medium and long term decisions aligned to our Technology strategy and directionManage the Infrastructure and Technology Operation including annual budget, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvementProvide leadership and advice to project managers, senior leaders, and technical managers on projects and BAU solutions and workContribute towards the development and implementation of our Cloud Strategy Own and manage risks and issues and ensure they are registered in the relevant systems with a mitigation or plan to resolveAbout you: 10+ years’ experience in a similar role leading IT infrastructure/services, preferably within the financial services industry5+ years experience in Azure (AWS would be a bonus)Deep knowledge of a variety of technologies, and broad problem-solving experienceSound working knowledge of major vendor technology stacks including IBM/Kyndryl, Storage Area Network (SAN) and related technologies as well as Cisco-based network communicationsExperience in disaster recovery architecture, communication, and related technologiesExperience in application and network securityProven leadership and people management skills as part of a large, complex organisation ITIL Certification, or demonstrable experience within ITIL organisationIf the above sounds like you and you're looking to join an organisation that genuinely values their employee's, APPLY NOW!Kia ora, Comspek and our clients fully support and encourage diverse hiring and inclusive recruitment processes.
