Senior Consultant - Security
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Security Consultant to join our client's team. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing comprehensive security solutions for our client. This position requires expertise in Checkpoint technologies and cloud security to address the evolving challenges in the cybersecurity landscape.Responsibilities:Lead and execute security consulting projects for our clients, including security assessments, architecture design, and implementationCollaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and develop tailored security strategies and solutionsConduct thorough security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation measuresDesign and implement security architectures using Checkpoint technologies, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and security gatewaysDevelop cloud security strategies and solutions, ensuring the protection of cloud-based applications, infrastructure, and dataConfigure and manage security tools and technologies to detect and respond to security incidents and threatsProvide expertise and guidance on industry best practices and emerging trends in cybersecurity, including cloud security frameworks and compliance requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions with other IT systemsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security consultantsStay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniquesRequirements:Extensive experience in cybersecurity consulting, with a focus on security architecture design and implementationStrong expertise in Checkpoint technologies, including Checkpoint firewalls, Security Management Server, and intrusion prevention systemsIn-depth knowledge and experience in cloud security, including cloud infrastructure security, identity and access management, and data protectionFamiliarity with cloud security platforms and tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Security Command CenterProven track record of designing and implementing security solutions aligned with industry standards and best practicesExperience conducting security assessments, audits, and penetration testingKnowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, VPNs, and network security principlesStrong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSE, or CCSA are highly desirableExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex security challengesStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholdersIf you are a seasoned Senior Security Consultant with expertise in Checkpoint technologies and cloud security, and you are passionate about helping organizations protect their critical assets, we would love to hear from you.
