Our client is on the search for a Security C&A Specialist (Security Compliance Specialist) to join their Security Certification and Accreditation team.
This is an intermediate level role.
About the Role:
As a Security C&A Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the implementation and maintenance of security audit and compliance projects within our client's organization. If you are someone with a passion for Security Compliance and Audit Management and have a strong understanding of relevant regulations such as NZISM, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for spearheading the delivery and maintenance of security audit and compliance projects. You will influence the importance of information security policies, standards, and industry controls, ensuring the effective implementation of security controls based on best practices such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NZISM, and more. Your role will also involve preparing for certification as an IT Security Auditor and managing various aspects of Security Certification and Accreditation Strategy. Additionally, you will support client certification requirements and consultation, conduct product and platform assurance assessments, and handle responses for security certification and assurance.
Requirements: To be successful in this position, you should hold appropriate qualifications in Cyber/Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field. You must have at least 4+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with being an excellent team player. Your ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate information, coupled with strong prioritization and time management skills, will be highly valued.
