Our leading client is looking for a Cloud Virtualisation Specialist to join their team. 
 
 
In this role you will provide multi-level technical administration for VMware/virtualisation technologies such as VCenter, ESXi, IT and Network Virtualised/Containerised Functions (NVF/CNF).
 
 
What you’ll do

• Ensure the infrastructure environments for our clients Virtualisation Services are proactively managed, ensuring platforms’ availability and stability.
• Provide key technical ownership into future design of virtualised platforms.
• Establish policies and procedures based on industry best practice for the monitoring, management, capacity planning and reporting of availability, performance and usage of our clients Virtualisation Services.
• Take an active role in BAU ownership of our clients virtualisation platforms 
• Responsible for maintaining availability of all of our clients virtualised environments

 
 
What will you bring?
 

• Demonstrable virtualisation technologies experience
• Ability to work in / lead a high performing team, make decisions under pressure and communicate effectively.
• Proven track record of platforms’ support, in large complex environments.
• Proven competencies in the following technologies.
• Vmware vSphere5/6/7
• vCloud Director
• Vmware/vRealise Orchestrator
• vCenter Operations Manager / vRealise Ops
• Storage technologies (EMC, HPE, HDS)
• Certified in VMware (VCP and/or VCAP)
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Certified in Microsoft technologies (MCSE) desirable
• Certified in Cisco technologies (CCNA) deisrable
