Looking for an experienced Information Management Advisor to deliver Information Services across Information Management, Information Security, and Privacy. Compliance and regulation is extremely important so it is vital that you have been across the statutes and regulations listed below. Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, standards, frameworks, guidance, training, and processes relevant to the Information Group's functional activities.
- Manage the delivery of Information Services to Whaikaha, including handling information requests, administering information repositories, and providing library services when required.
- Offer professional and timely advice to the business while ensuring compliance with relevant statutes, rules, and regulations such as the Privacy Act 2020, Public Records Act 2005, Official Information Act 1982, New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM), and Protective Security Requirements (PSR).
- Coordinate the resolution of information breaches and complaints as outlined in the Information Service Level Agreement.
- Support the development and implementation of a reporting plan that demonstrates the service levels provided to Whaikaha.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification or experience in Information Management and Privacy, Library Science.
- Knowledge and understanding of the structure of relevant statutes, rules, and regulations, and compliance obligations pertaining to the responsible use of information.
- Experience working in an operational team providing reporting, support, and advice to a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong relationship management skills.
