Job description
Our leading client needs an IT Engineer who will be working in the Digital Workplace Platform Team dealing with Enterprise and Commercial Accounts. You will be responsible for the management and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure along with maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies and providing 2nd and 3rd level support to customers. You will need to have Windows Server 2019, Azure and O365.
Technologies:
• 7+ years’ experience supporting Windows Infrastructure and Servers covering the following:
• Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and other Windows type technologies
• Active Directory
• DFS
• DNS/DHCP
• GPO Management
• CA/PKI
• O365/M365 and other private and public cloud methodologies
• Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Citrix App and Desktop Virtualisation
• Experience with components of the Microsoft System Center family (SCCM, SCOM, SCEP, Orchestrator, etc.)
• Experience with systems management and monitoring products.
• Experience with one or more scripting language like PowerShell, VBS, .NET Framework
• Experience creating operations process documentation.
Please note that this role will involve on call, likely to be every 1 in 4 to 1 in 6 weeks.
