Our client is looking for an experienced IT Engineer to support their hybrid cloud infrastructure. This is a permanent opportunity based in Auckland with flexible/hybrid working.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within the cross-functional team to deploy, configure and maintain diverse organisational and customer environments, but especially VMWare vSphere and the VMWare suite of products.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of our compute infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and incidents promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
• Please note: This role involves occasional after-hours work and participation as a member of the teams on-call roster.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
• Ideally you will be able to demonstrate proficiency in a number of virtualisation technologies, but especially in VMWare vSphere and its associated products (such as NSX, SRM, etc).
