Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Engineer!

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in Unix/Linux, network monitoring, and enterprise system support.
You should possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of modern technology systems to lead our team in delivering the best service to our customers.


Skills:

1. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
2. Thorough understanding of best practices in service delivery, SaaS, and Cloud services.
3. Experience leading the delivery of modern technology systems in a customer-focused environment.
4. Strong risk management skills, including reporting on system performance, risk, and financials.
5. Ability to gather and record user requirements for technology systems.
6. Expertise in NAS and file servers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, and virtualization (VMWare and Nutanix).

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting enterprise systems and performing network monitoring.
2. Leading the delivery of modern technology systems and working within a structured risk management framework.
3. Maintaining NAS and file servers, and managing Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Domain Controllers.
4. Virtualizing with VMWare and Nutanix and managing data center hardware.
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
6. Translating technology concepts to business stakeholders and managing external providers.
