Multiple Contracts - Want to be part of a delivery team who are leading the way with Open Banking and Enterprise APIs for our key banking client in Wellington? 

•Work in an Agile Team to analyse business processes, procedures and user requirements to establish technical system design.
•Write quality, maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment
•Be involved in the full software development life cycle, from feature planning and estimation, through development, to delivery, testing and support
•Ensure system documentation is accurate and up to date.
•Provide guidance and support to peers through code reviews, and technical leadership

What experience you'll need to have: 

Essential:
•3-5+ years' experience in development and maintenance of technology applications in Java 
•Solid Java and ideally some Springboot capability
•Experience with the REST-based APIs design and development of APIs
•Experience with AWS, OpenShift, Kong, Kafka, Active MQ, Docker, Kubernetes and other modern toolsets
•Knowledge of Jenkins CI automation or other CI/CD tools
•Proven ability to communicate ideas and designs clearly and concisely
•Prior financial services & banking experience
