Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a passion for leading teams and managing complex projects? Do you have a solid understanding of civils operations, including drilling teams and traffic management teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a Dynamic company as an Operations Manager.


As the Operations Manager your primary responsibility will be to efficiently plan and manage the work of our drilling teams and traffic management teams.


Responsiblities: 


1. Planning and organising crew resources, schedules, and rosters to ensure effective project execution.

2. Overseeing the setup of drilling rigs for fibre installation and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop work plans and timelines

4. Monitoring and managing crew productivity, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.

5. Conducting regular site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and provide guidance to crew members.

6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the teams.

7. Collaborating with the procurement department to ensure the availability of equipment and materials for the crews.

8. Managing relationships with subcontractors and external service providers to ensure timely completion of projects.

9. Providing leadership and mentorship to the civils crews, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:


1. Proven experience (5 years) in a similar Operations Manager or related role within the civils or telecommunications industry.

2. In-depth knowledge of civils operations, including drilling and fibre installation processes.

3. Familiarity with traffic management systems and standards, ideally holding STMS certification.

4. Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

5. Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide teams towards achieving goals.

6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

7. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

8. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools.
