Job description

We're looking for two Platform Engineer's to join our clients' supportive, collaborative and innovative team in either a permanent or contractual capacity. You will support our clients Treasury and Market Risk applications by ensuring a stable and secure platform for the application to run.
  
 What you will need to be successful: 
  • Windows/Linux system operations/administration
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, ETL Technologies (SSIS), SharePoint, CICD
  • Experience building Linux platforms
  • Familiar with Docker or similar
  • Good programming with PowerShell skills
  • Familiar with CI and DevOps tooling (Azure, Git, Bitbucket or similar)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Tech Stacks such as (SharePoint, SQL Server, C# etc)
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and to switch tasks and/or used technologies
  • Ability to investigate and solve challenging technical issues
  • Very good troubleshooting skills, an analytic approach to given tasks and problems
  • Experience with operational disciplines such as security, monitoring, logging, patching and disaster recovery
  • Experience engineering fault tolerant, resilient systems
  • Able to collaborate and integrate with a global design team
  • Experience working under an Agile methodology with a product focused organisation
  • Software development. We don't need you to be a software developer, but knowledge of different paradigms is essential 
 
Preferred Additional Knowledge:  
  • Experience with network and domain management
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Networking protocols and network services skills
  • Security aspects of Windows systems
  • Control-M
  • Experience in Managed File Transfer
