Job description
We have a 12 month contract (hourly rate) based in Dunedin with our client in the Healthcare space looking for an experienced leader to head their Digital stream. This role ensures people, processes, and operations are fully prepared to adopt and sustain new digital systems – including one of their key goals: removing the need for paper records.
As the Programme Manager, you’ll drive change and engagement activities, workforce readiness, and the operational capability needed to run and optimise the new systems. You’ll partner with clinical leaders, operational managers, and digital services to align readiness activities with programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Digital Readiness, integrating change, training, engagement, and operational transition.
- Build and coach a high-performing team spanning change managers, trainers, and readiness leads.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive change and engagement strategy.
- Provide clear programme-level reporting, risk management, and executive advice.
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years in programme or large project management (healthcare exp a big bonus).
- Proven success leading engagement at scale.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Operational readiness and post-go-live experience required.
- Digital health systems knowledge and understanding of clinical workflows advantageous.
