Job description
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical project within a large-scale transformation programme.
This is a full-time contract role based in Christchurch, with an initial term of 12 months. Hourly rate contract.
You’ll have the flexibility to work from home part of the week, but a minimum of three days in the office is required.

What You’ll Do
- Drive project delivery within agreed timelines and governance frameworks.
- Facilitate structured decision-making and option analysis.
- Ensure risks and issues are identified, quantified, and escalated appropriately.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and secure decisions at the right level.
- Oversee project artefacts and apply best-practice frameworks pragmatically.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills – able to get to the root of issues.
- Solid understanding of project governance, frameworks, and lifecycle artefacts.
- Expertise in risk and issue management.
- Ability to manage upwards and facilitate strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
