This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer-focussed, data-driven professional to work in a flexible and supportive environment. Your main responsibility will be the proactive support of systems administration, data and reporting out of their core IBM Open Pages system as well as assisting in the development of strong risk insights for the Risk Management business unit. This role is ideal for someone bright and driven - a quick learner, great with processes and building reports, and interested in a development pathway to Data Visualisation or a Line 1 Risk Practitioner.
About the role:
- Be a point of contact for IBM Open Pages users, triaging and responding to user requests
- Collaborate with other support functions and wider Risk to automate and deliver effective solutions
- Provide clear and concise communication on complex issues to a non-technical audience
- Partner with the business managers to drive more effective use of their system
- Extract data and reporting from the system
- Maintain and enhance existing reporting in line with policy changes and good practices
About you:
- Advanced Excel, including formula functions, pivot tables and macros
- Highly organised – keeps track of requests, schedules tasks and manages priorities
- Proven experience in process documentation and process improvement
- Creating and delivering guidance and training to varied stakeholders
- Experience using CRM or GRC platforms (IBM OpenPages a big plus)
- Highly developed analytical skills – asks questions, interrogates data, draws conclusions
- Manipulating and interpreting complex data
- Familiarity with programming and query languages (such as SQL, Python, R, VBA, DAX)
- Experience in Data Visualisation tools (MS Power BI is preferred)
- Builds effective relationships and determines and responds to customer needs
- Desire to learn and innovate with the MS Power Platform (such as Power Apps and Power Automate)
- Desire to learn analytical tools (such as R) and create meaningful insights from data
