Our client in the financial sector is currently looking for a SAAS Cloud Security Consultant to join their team! Whether you're already an experienced Cloud Security Consultant or a Senior Systems / DevOps / Platform Engineer - Microsoft with an element of security in your role and a desire to keep learning - we want to hear from you! About the role: 

• Support our global cloud security systems: CIAM, CASB, WAF, Cloud Proxy
• Support the Azure cloud M365 Platform services for all APAC divisions (in various MS roles e.g. compliance data administrator, email DNS administrator, security reader etc)
• Working with APAC Applications teams to help design and implement cloud products & services
• Educate and / or train teams in cloud technologies and way-of-working
• Creating tools to monitor our cloud platforms, applications and services including system health indicators, trend identification, and anomaly detection.
• Analyze and monitor performance bottlenecks and key metrics to optimize Cloud application landscape and ensuring cloud costs are tightly controlled.
• Develop to become the subject matter expert for business related SAAS solutions, championing one of our divisions’ adoption of CIAM integration and growing Azure SAAS for third party and client services.
• Regularly evaluate cloud solutions, technologies, hardware, and software.
• This role will also work alongside APAC Security in managing the relationship with cloud vendors and suppliers.

1. Team Support

• This role will work as part of the APAC Security Team in provide technical support of our cloud security systems in the NZ morning hours before Australian and Indian support teams come online.
• This role will work with global architectural teams in defining cloud specifications (Solution Design, Data Flow, UI, Documentation of Business Process where appropriate etc.)
• This role will work closely with one of our division’s management teams in securing their adoption of secure cloud applications and migrating existing applications to the cloud securely.

1. Relationships

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal global and APAC stakeholders to promote a culture that does the ‘right thing'

About you:

• 5+ years’ experience in Azure cloud services
• Administrative experience in Azure Active Directory, as well as services that federate to Azure Active Directory like Exchange Online, SharePoint Online
• Experience in Azure API Management would be a bonus
• Change and Release Management experience in mid to large size organisations
• Passionate about good development and the outcomes it can achieve
• A mature and strong work ethic, to work independently and support a team
• General Cloud API knowledge (JSON, REST, Web API)
• Security technologies and SDLC experience and Agile environments
• The ability to communicate complex procedures and processes to team members

Desirable:

• Experience in AWS Cloud Services or Google Cloud Platform
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
• CISSP, CCSP, CISM etc

• Technical Innovation and integration planning
• Experience mentoring junior staff
• Experience with SQL & Oracle would be an advantage
• Proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships across a business
