This person will maintain and improve the security posture of the company, its platforms and contribute to creating and implementing the security roadmap for our client. Our client has an online platform that has seen huge growth over these past few years and the people driving this are amazing, a really good team to be part of.

Skills and Experience

Desired Experience and Knowledge

• At least 1-2 years’ experience in Information Security
• 1+ years of DEVOPS or Software Development experience
• Experience of the software development lifecycle and how security plays part in that process.
• Delivery of highly available and secure application service solutions
• Administration, design and implementation of both Managed Infrastructure and Cloud environments
• Broad, expert knowledge of Information Security principles and practices associated with networks, internet, email, operating systems, firewalls, IDS/IPS tools, SIEM solutions, VPN gateways, MFA solutions, Office365, cryptography, with high level expertise/specialisation in several of these fields.
• Familiarity with endpoint protection software (e.g. Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection [ATP])
• Have a strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Have an understanding of ISO, PCI or SOX security standards

Desired Skills

• Ability to assess network security weaknesses and vulnerabilities
• Advanced networking skills
• Ability to diagram and depict complex infrastructure/topology.
• Scripting and task automation experience via PowerShell or other languages/frameworks.
• Hardware and operating system configuration skills.
