About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Technology team and support the delivery of strategic and operational change across Toyota New Zealand.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, digital, and delivery teams to understand what the business needs, analyse current and future state processes, and help design solutions that deliver real business value. This is a hands-on delivery role embedded in major programmes and initiatives.


------ What you’ll be doing ------

Business analysis & business cases

• Contribute to the development of business cases for strategic and operational initiatives
• Analyse and consolidate information to define clear business objectives and requirements
• Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices
• Identify inefficiencies, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Recommend optimal business practices, system functionality, and process improvements

Requirements & solution definition

• Act as a key point of contact for gathering and documenting business and customer requirements
• Translate business needs into system and solution requirements
• Define business rules and non-functional requirements to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
• Create specification documents, epics, user stories, and process flows
• Prepare clear, testable acceptance criteria that define successful outcomes

Delivery support

• Work closely with business, project, and technical teams to ensure stakeholder needs are met
• Identify and communicate dependencies, risks, and issues identified through analysis
• Support delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver value
• Develop business success measures aligned to strategic goals
• Follow Toyota New Zealand’s BA standards, templates, and ways of working

About you
You’ll be a confident and delivery-focused Senior Business Analyst with:

• 8+ years’ experience in business analysis across complex IT, digital, or business change
• Strong experience with requirements elicitation, process analysis, and solution design
• Proven ability to work across business and technology teams
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A structured, analytical, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
