Senior Full Stack Developer – Contract
Location: Auckland
Duration: 12 months
Start Date: 27 January 2026
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join an Agile team delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. You’ll work across the full SDLC, contributing to system design, development, testing, and production support.

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join an Agile team delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. You’ll work across the full SDLC, contributing to system design, development, testing, and production support.
What you’ll do:
- Analyse business processes and user requirements with the Agile team
- Lead system and application design, including documentation and maintenance
- Develop, test, and support high-quality software solutions
- Create development and support documentation
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents for assigned applications
Essential:
- Strong Java development experience (Java 11+) using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
- Hands-on React experience building modern user interfaces
- Experience with Apache Kafka and Kubernetes
- Solid domain modelling skills
- Relational database experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2)
- Practical CI/CD experience (e.g. Jenkins, Terraform)
- Monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Splunk, Dynatrace)
- AWS experience
- Agile / Scrum / Kanban delivery experience
- Understanding of enterprise automation
- Strong communication and design articulation skills
