Job description

Our client is looking for multiple Senior Information Security Consultant's as well as a Senior Information Security Engineer. 

Senior Security Information Engineer (9 month contract):
Install, maintain, decommission, support, and troubleshoot our clients security infrastructure. The network security infrastructure includes firewalls, VPNs, proxies, URL filters, and email security gateways. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to act as a mentor and coach to achieve the team’s objectives of delivering a world class information security environment.


The role:
1. Security:
·       Oversee and support implementation of changes to our information security management platforms.
·       Co-ordinating Cyber Security response to incident management issues
·       Performing major platform upgrades
·       Engaging and liaising with vendors for escalated support issues and incidents.
·       Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures to help the team work efficiently and improve service levels.
 
2. Best Practice and Compliance:
·       Partner with the Service Owner to build the strategic roadmap for the Information Security Engineering practice
·       Explore and adopt innovation practices in conjunction with the Service Owner to define enterprise-wide standards and policies


3. Service Delivery:
·       Clearly communicate technical security related issues to senior staff members during major incident resolution meetings
 
Technical Skills we're looking for:
-   Security related certifications (e.g. CISSP, network security certs)
-   Expertise across a variety of security products including firewalls, URL filtering, email security gateways, endpoint detection and response, data loss prevention, and virus protection
-   Experience of security incident and event management (SIEM) platforms, or PKI infrastructure or other security related toolsets
-   Experience operating in an enterprise environment following strict change control procedures, eg using Remedy or Service Now. 
-   Demonstrable knowledge of change, incident, and problem management (ITIL.)
-   Previous exposure to Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems, coding languages, and/or Networks
-   Comfortable working with 3rd parties to solve complex multi-stakeholder issues
-   Demonstrable knowledge, understanding and application of information security best practice standards and guidelines (e.g. ISO 27001)

Senior Information Security Consultant's (15 month contract):
Responsible for advising the business and IT units in Information Security, so as to facilitate compliance with the company information security framework. 

The role:
1.Security:
• Enable the evaluation of security products and implement into existing environments without interruption to services and advise on requirements for business processes, applications and products to ensure that our company continues to be protected against current and emerging threats
• Administer the organisation's information technology platforms, including provisioning and de-provisioning of access to ensure that the right people have the right level of access at the right time and DLP to prevent data leakage
• Enable the development, implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, standards, governance frameworks and strategies, and assist with development of security tools

2. Service delivery:
• Investigate, respond to, resolve, and report on security incidents/issues 

Technical Skills:
- Information security - Level 4
- Consultancy - Level 5
- Emerging technology monitoring - Level 5
- Business analysis - Level 3
- Security administration - Level 4

Other Attributes:
- Solid experience in an information security, information technology, risk management, audit or equivalent role
- A good understanding of information security best practice standards and guidelines (e.g. ISO 27001)
