It's an exciting time to join our leading NZ Communications client! They are looking for a Senior IP Design Engineer to design, implement and support their core IP network. 

You will bring strong experience implementing of modern Layer 3 routing and switching configurations, network security, and network performance improvements.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following technical experience:

• Experience with Nokia/ALU
• Experience with Juniper hardware such as MX, PTX, EX, QFX 
• Experience with Switching such as Port Channel, STP
• Experience in service provider network implementations using BGP, OSPF, MPLS, ISIS, SIP trunking, QOS and carrier grade redundancy design 
• Experience with using a CLI to monitor and configure network equipments
• Familiarity with Change Control processes
