Our client a leading academic institution is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team. The Senior Network Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and upgrading the institution's network infrastructure to support their diverse academic and research needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage complex network infrastructure and services.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex network issues, including LAN/WAN connectivity, Internet connectivity, and security issues.
• Work with IT team to ensure network services are highly available and meet performance requirements.
• Monitor and maintain network performance and capacity to ensure efficient and effective network operation.
• Collaborate with academic and research teams to ensure their network needs are met.
• Stay current with emerging network technologies and trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering.
• CCNP level certification or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and SSL.
• Experience with network management tools, including SNMP, Netflow, and Wireshark.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
