Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage complex network infrastructure and services.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex network issues, including LAN/WAN connectivity, Internet connectivity, and security issues.
- Work with IT team to ensure network services are highly available and meet performance requirements.
- Monitor and maintain network performance and capacity to ensure efficient and effective network operation.
- Collaborate with academic and research teams to ensure their network needs are met.
- Stay current with emerging network technologies and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in network engineering.
- CCNP level certification or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and SSL.
- Experience with network management tools, including SNMP, Netflow, and Wireshark.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
