About the Role We're looking for an experienced Service Designer to join a design-forward, agile environment and help shape exceptional customer and business experiences. You’ll be embedded in a high-performing team where you’ll drive service design outcomes from concept to execution.
This is a full-time contract opportunity based in Auckland, with flexible hybrid working.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Respond to and shape new design requests, planning activities that align with business and customer needs
- Advocate for service design at senior leadership levels
- Use data-driven insights to solve customer and business problems
- Lead research and design briefs for internal and external teams
- Redesign current-state experiences using Human-Centred Design techniques
- Create service design artefacts: journey maps, blueprints, ecosystem maps, prototypes
- Design and facilitate workshops across domains
- Produce well-structured, concise insights and recommendations
- Share best practice and stay across design trends
- 5+ years’ experience in Service Design or a similar role
- Strong background in HCD, service design methodologies, and agile delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading design workshops and presenting to leadership
- Expert-level user of Miro
- Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently
- A proactive mindset and a natural problem-solving approach
- Knowledge of Lean UX, MVPs, user stories and rapid prototyping
- Experience using Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch or InVision
- Work on meaningful design challenges in a large-scale environment
- High-impact role influencing customer experience strategy
