Our client is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join their Technology Strategy & Architecture team (can be based in Auckland or Wellington).

This is a delivery oriented role focusing on the development and enhancement of their business products. 

You will be leading the architecture and design of features so that they achieve business outcomes and can be implemented by their platform teams. To achieve this, you will be collaborating with the product managers, the wider architect team, platform teams, business analysts and testers.

About you:

• A passion for continuous learning and personal growth
• A strong contributor to architectural policy, standards, and guidelines: providing a delivery perspective to the artefacts
• 10+ years Solution Design Engineering and Architecture with large scale technology environments.
• Understanding of APIs, Identity and Access Management, Cloud Platforms, Application Performance and Security architecture
• Understanding of systems engineering methodology and architectural design practices.
• Ability to present complex technology concepts, opportunities, and challenges to senior business stakeholders.
• Experience in the Telco or Utility industries would be a bonus
• A strong contributor to architectural policy, standards, and guidelines: providing a delivery perspective to the artefacts
• Experience working in an agile way and comfortable using best practices
