Job description

We are seeking a highly driven Service Transition Lead with expertise in client delivery, management, and technology to join our dynamic and constantly evolving ICT market team. As a Service Transition Lead, you will be responsible for building relationships with our customers to understand their business needs and drive outcomes. You will develop transition plans and work with internal operational teams to transition designs into service integration and management services for our clients. You will identify and mitigate service risks and oversee the implementation of the service for an agreed period following go-live, facilitating final transition and sign-off to BAU. You will work with internal Operational Delivery teams to develop and execute transition plans to ensure smooth progression from service design to operational support. You will also engage and present with internal stakeholders to ensure there is buy-in to proposed solutions and capability, including training, is in place to deliver required outcomes for customers.

What you are responsible for:

  • Building relationships with our customers to understand their business, needs and drive outcomes

  • Working with internal Operational Delivery teams to develop and execute transition plans to ensure smooth progression from service design to operational support
  • Engaging and presenting with internal stakeholders, to ensure there is buy-in to proposed solutions, and capability (including training) is in place to deliver required outcomes for customers
  • Building strong relationships with our sales, service delivery and operational teams to become a trusted advisor
  • Actively drive continuous Service Improvement and Service Development

What skills and experience you need?

  • Have a good understanding of industry best practice & trends for Service Management & Service Desk architecture and framework components
  • Deep understanding of IT Service management and Service solutions, preferably with delivery experience
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Enjoy problem solving and service improvement
  • Ability to context switch and work in a fast paced team environment
  • Have experience in transition planning which incorporates an outcomes orientated approach
