Our client is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team. You can come from a Cloud Engineer or Senior Systems Engineer background
As an SRE - Site Reliability Engineer L3, you will play a crucial role in standardizing and automating Azure systems. Your primary responsibilities will involve automating platforms and services to ensure reliable operations using code. You will collaborate closely with L4 peers, client infrastructure teams, and the DevOps team to support project delivery. Your expertise in automation, cloud security, and infrastructure will contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of existing processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on standardization and automation of Azure systems.
- Automate platforms and services using code for reliable operations.
- Facilitate, advise, and deliver automation with security and governance controls.
- Collaborate with L4 peers, client infrastructure teams, and DevOps team to assist with project delivery.
- Continuously improve processes and systems.
- Handle day-to-day tasks and business-as-usual operations based on client needs.
- Azure expert with Azure certification and hands-on experience.
- Ability to design and implement cloud security, availability, and reliability best practices.
- Strong IP networking skills.
- Experience with Azure resource deployment, Service Principal Names (SPNs), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery tooling like GitHub.
- Monitoring expertise to ensure smooth infrastructure operations and availability of critical applications and services.
