Technical Business Analyst – Wellington

About Us: REANNZ operates a high-performance digital network tailored to New Zealand’s research and education sector. They have integrated with NeSI to create a comprehensive eResearch hub, offering network services, high-performance computing, and researcher-focused support. 

About the Role: As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll be part of the Systems team, responsible for delivering business operations and digital services. You’ll play a key role in enterprise tool consolidation, gathering requirements, defining workflows, and supporting migration plans. This position is based in Wellington.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across teams to ensure business needs are met. 
• Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions with stakeholders. 
• Define project scope, document processes, and gather requirements. 
• Support tool selection and migration planning with a focus on security and compliance. 
• Provide specialist advice and manage risks effectively. 

What We’re Looking For:

• 5 years of relevant industry experience. 
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, or Information Science (preferred). 
• Experience in IT/ICT projects, system environments, and SDLC models. 
• Strong business analysis, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Exposure to enterprise tool consolidation projects is highly desirable.
