Our client is looking for a Test Manager for a 6 month project based in the Wellingotn CBD. 

As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end testing process, ensuring the delivery of reliable and robust software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to define testing strategies, establish test plans, and execute comprehensive test cycles. Your expertise will be critical in identifying and resolving issues, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
• Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate software functionality.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify and report defects, track their resolution, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Provide regular status reports and updates to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
