Job description

Our leading client is looking for a UAT Manager to lead their Actuarial & Finance workstreams to complete UAT of a Group Financial Solution. The role is focused on planning and resourcing the testing, providing reporting visibility of progress, managing issue resolution & escalation across the test cycles as well as supporting management satisfy auditor reviews of the UAT cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Technical PM to develop and manage the delivery plan, aligning the NZ plan with Group Office UAT planning and wider programme
  • Be the NZ representative to Group managing all NZ UAT deliverables on behalf of Group
  • Status reporting on plan and deliverables to NZ & Group
  • Workstream planning & resource management in consultation with Workstream Leads
  • Manage resource to deliver outcomes, resolve issues
  • Test approach, cases, script validation with Workstream leads
  • Tracking and resolution of defects (JIRA)
  • Identify risk, issues associated with the test plan, deliverables and escalate through channels as advised by the programme
  • Ensure documentation in place to ensure traceability of user requirements, test scripts, test performance, test outcomes for potential audit review
  • Provide input to resource allocation within Workstreams, ensuring UAT deliverables are prioritised
  • Facilitate & manage NZ business requirements discussion with Group where defects require a Group solution change
  • Manage Business Workstream requirements with the Build stream for local defects requiring data changes
  • Provide guidance to Workstreams to ensure decisions are made and approved for Workstream business impacting items
 About you:
  • Ability to lead a team of 5-10 and resolve issues as they arise
  • Proven UAT Management background within large, complex organisations (ideally with finance and business systems - SAP, SAS, EDW etc.)
  • Ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Solid communication skills
  • Resource Management ability
  • Comfortable with data, data flows through multiple systems translated via mapping tables
  • A high EQ
  • A financial background would be a bonus
