Our client is looking for someone to architect / solution voice and UC infrastructure for their customers (small to medium sized organisations). They're needing a VoIP and SIP expert who can design and build VoIP/UC solutions across phone systems and contact centres from the ground up. The role will encompass creating technical design documents and as-builts which include hardware, OS, virtualization, firewall/network connectivity requirements, information security, high availability, UC application configuration and settings etc. The role will also involve creating handover documentation and leading training sessions for operational provisioning teams, engineering teams and technical support teams to take over and use the solutions you have designed and built. 

About you:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Voice/UC systems engineering or design role with involvement in architecture (Linux preferred).
• VoIP / SIP expert.
• Experience as the solution SME, being the most senior technical escalation / last point of call involved in the resolution of complex faults and major incidents.
• Cloud experience a bonus
