About the Role: We are seeking a Technical Telco Business Analyst to join our client's small, tight-knit team in Wellington.

This role requires someone who is well-versed in understanding key technical requirements from a broad set of stakeholders, including the Network and Engagement Teams, and who can work closely with the Systems team to document these requirements, process maps, reports and visuals.

The focus is on understanding technical concepts, such as new network tools and upgrades, and translating them into clear requirements for the build teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Network and Engagement Teams to understand their technical requirements for new products, services, or system tools.
Collaborate with the Systems team to document these requirements using a waterfall requirements gathering process.
Create process maps and graphs to visualize the requirements and ensure they are clearly understood by all stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and engineers to fully grasp the requirements and address any challenges.
You will be the sole Business Analyst in the IT Group, taking ownership of requirements gathering and documentation.

Requirements we are looking for:
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment.
Strong understanding of technical concepts, including network infrastructure and systems architecture.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into clear, understandable language.
Experience with waterfall requirements gathering processes.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
Personable, calm, and a team player.
