About the role:
You will report directly to the Network Operations Manager; the Engineering Manager is responsible for driving the build, implementation and support of new and existing networks and services across the entire portfolio.
The position involves taking responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day running of the Engineering team and collaborating with other parts of the organisation and external parties to deliver the company objectives and initiatives. Ensuring tasks and resources are scheduled and tracked appropriately to meet project and customer deadlines.
Your experience:
- Proven experience in a Telecommunications Service Provider environment.
- Experience leading teams designing, implementing and fault fixing Networks.
- Ability to lead and manage people, providing guidance and coaching to technical teams
- A proven record of delivering transformation outcomes and leading an engaged team.
In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.). - Able to lead root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues and identify appropriate corrective actions required and ensure these are implemented
